Starting My Personal Blog

Introduction

This is the first post on my personal website, subratasarker.com.

This site is a place where I bring together my work in materials science, electrochemistry, data analytics, and technology. It serves both as a portfolio of what I have done and a platform for what I am building next.

Over the years, I have explored many areas—materials science, electrochemistry, electronics, data analysis, and more. However, most of this work has not been recorded in a structured or accessible way. This blog is an attempt to organize what I have done, what I am doing, and what I plan to do next.

Why Now

I have always wanted to write, but I never maintained consistency.

Now is a good time to change that.

With the availability of modern tools and AI, it is easier to:

  • organize thoughts
  • structure ideas
  • maintain consistency

This removes two major barriers: time and technical overhead.

Purpose of This Blog

This blog is part of a larger system.

The website functions as:

  • A portfolio of my technical and research work
  • A place to document projects and ongoing development
  • A platform to share knowledge and ideas

Within that, the blog will serve as:

  • A personal repository of my work and activities
  • A place to document learning and experimentation
  • A way to share ideas in materials science, electrochemistry, and data analytics

Rather than aiming for perfection, the goal is steady progress.

Connection and Visibility

Writing also creates opportunities for connection.

By documenting my work openly, I can connect with people who share similar interests—something that is otherwise difficult without a platform like this.

What to Expect

This blog will include:

  • General updates about my work and projects
  • Insights from my learning and career transition
  • Technology topics related to data analytics and tools
  • Academic discussions on materials science and electrochemistry

Closing

This is a starting point.

The goal is simple: write consistently, improve over time, and build something meaningful.

  • personal-website
  • materials-science
  • data-analysis
